Question on 92-95 Civic Power Window conversion - JDM & USDM units the same?
Ive had a set of power window regulators in my garage for awhile.. and I think they are JDM but not 100% sure.
The left and right sides look identical. And i have a set of USDM and a set of JDM winndow switches.. so I obviously plan on using the USDM ones out of an ex here.
Are JDM and USDM regulators the same?
If not, whats different?
Can i use the glass thats in my car right now (manual windows), or is PW glass different (different bolt locations?)??
..and can someone link me to a good Power Window / Power Lock DIY writeup.
Thanks.
Regulators ive got now:

Re: (civicslayrx)
I'd assume the difference between the JDM/USDM regulators is entirely in the motors - the "Passenger" side regulator motor will only have 2 wires, and the "Driver" side will have 4 to accomodate the "Auto-Down" feature.
Make sense? Whichever has 2 wires is "Passenger" - if it's the right side, it's a USDM regulator, if left, it's a JDM regulator.
