Honestly how much would it take to run a 98 honda civic with a B-18 B non Vtec in the mid 11's? The last message boards I got on laughed at me and said it couldn't be done. How much will it cost? I'm trying to beat a 93 Mustang Gt that a buddy of mine has. My goal is to spend around 10-15 grand. The last message board I got on I think was nothing but young kids that honestly didn't know. So far I paid 2,500 for the car and 750 for the B-18 B So my goal is no more than $15,000 my friend has 15,000 in his semi-built Mustang and it only runs 11.87.

The reason you got laughed at might have been because message boards are flooeded with topics where someone "has $10,000.00-$15,000" and it gets old.
