Default Question

Hi I just bought a 95 del sol vtec it has a b16a3 motor 5spd and I want to buy a short ram intake (prefer aem) I was wondering can I use one thats for a civic 95 ? Heres a pic of the car (just bought it like 1h ago from a honda dealer haha)

ok I just checked the AEM website and under del sol vtec it only shows cold air intake I am getting confused because I am in canada and del sols come with SOHC motors or am i wrong ?

Cold Air Intake have a longer pipe and hangs really low to the ground....kindda dangerous for a rainy day....you want a short one....no need to pay too much for one....just hope on Ebay or something....

Agreed. And if you use a short ram it doesnt really matter for SOHC or DOHC. Both will fit just fine. Get an ebay tube. Nice car though man! Very clean

yup....and some did come with 1.6DOHC 160hp/111lbft

Yeah thats what this kid has, right? A del sol VTEC. It comes with a b16a3. A short ram that fits a d15b7 would fit this motor as well...

Ok thanks guys for your help I guess I will buy an ebay intake with a k&n filter. The reason I don't want a cold air is because it rains A LOT where I live so don't wanna mess up the motor. Right now there is no engine mods only an exhaust and I think rota slipstreams rims. The car is VERY clean no accidents etc

Hey guys I need help on making a decision here.. The person that had this before me put a red honda emblem on the back of the car should I shave this off or find a normal honda one ? Should I also shave off the honda emblem on the front ?

PS: I just found out my insurance is going to be $3275 CAD a year

Ya I know its my car but I am just asking if you guys think it would look good ? do you have any idea how much it would cost to shave the front and rear emblem ?

well....i would just get the normal H emblem and spray them black...

but thats what i would do....your choice.

My car is dark green so I don't think it would look good.. Have any of you shaved them ? how much did it cost you ?

I would just remove it because it is only a matter of time before someone rips it off.

put electrical tape over it....lol....i dont know yo, find what you would like to do and do it...and about the carbon trunk....u trippin...that **** would look sick....
