Default Question

Does the hood pins (lock pins) really help if the hood feels like it is not tied, even though it is tied.

Will apreciate any help and please if you are going to say it's a newbi question than just go back to what you where doing.

thanks

Yes, hood pins can make a HUGE difference. Depending on how light your hood is, and how brittle the latch without pins, your hood could easily fly up and smash into your windsheild when driving.

Get hood pins.

Yeah, I have a carbon fiber hood so it means it's not heavy, so then you think the pins should help that litle problem.

thanks JDM-EJ1.

Be sure to use actual hood pins rather than the hood locks that many people seem to be fond of.
