Q about airbags and harnesses (seats)

Q about airbags and harnesses (seats)
ok, lets say you have some sort of racing seat and a 4 point harness. If you were to get into an accident, there really isnt any way you could be thrown at the steering column and need an airbag to save your ribs and face, correct?? I was just thinkin this and wondered what you guys thought
I do suppose the entire seat could come off the rails or the rails out of the floor and the whole seat fly forward with you in it....then a bag mite help

Well theoretically no. But if your seat comes flying off the rails or something of the like in an accident then I really do not think that the airbags are going to do much good then. Just curious though why did you ask? If you are looking for some seats and harnesses I have some for sale. Thanks and God Bless!!
