Default putting on springs

I plan on putting my sprint springs on my civic tomorrow. I've never done this before, but I'm sure I'll do fine. Any tips/hints that would help me in advance?

thanks in advance,
NicK

get shocks maybe? KYB AGX adjustables for ~$320 would be great (depending on how low u are). if you lower on just springs, you'll be okay FOR A WHILE, but with competent shocks, your ride will feel/perform better, and last longer. Other brands would be tokico, bilstein, KONI... etc.

It's a lot harder than 60 bucks total. I recommend doing it yourself, but $60 ain't bad.

yea 60 bucks is hella cheap...i charge 100.00.. id suggest having a spring compressor for this job...it makes it alot easier but there isnt to much pressure behind civic springs so u can do it without it....just make sure to point the spring away from ur face....hehe....i usually put it between my knees and let it shoot out in front of me...done it dozens of time...do it yourself..its a good learning experience.

Please don't recommend this on this board. I know some of the springs don't "shoot out" too hard, but somebody will smash a face doing this if we recommend it.

Get a spring compressor, period. Autozone rents them for free. No sense in busting your face over being too lazy.
