putting on a lip
I am interested in putting on front and rear lips on my car. Do they ever leave marks on your bumper paint if you take them off? Where you screw it into your bumper are the holes completely underneath the bumper, so you can't see the holes a little if you take it off? It seems like they wouldn't be visible, but what are your experiences? Thanks

Re: putting on a lip (em96civicex)
from my exp, I have stock si front & rear lips on my EM1 ... but I sort of "loosened" the front to allow some play when going over speed bumps, steep hills, etc so there is a small amount of paint rub. I left the back one really tight fitting so it doesn't flap in the wind and look ghey.
on my '95 civic ... the type r lip left visible marks b/c it only fit "inside" the grill, sort of resting on top of the bottom of the bumper, but my si bolts at the very bottom so you can't see anything.
hope this helps.
