Putting H22 in a 97 Civic DX - Resistor box and bracket questions
ok im thinking about droping my h22 turboed in my civic and im wondering how i would go about hooking up the resistor box for the injectors ? and im not sure what i will need the car currently has a ls swap in it and im not sure if i would still use the si rear t bracker and side top post bracket?[i know i need the mount kit]. the h22 is in a 97 accord which is set up like obd1 with the side connectors in the engine bay but is obd2 inside car to ecu and is wired up for obd1 dizzy. so would it be easier to pull the wireharness out of the accord and use it sinces its ready for the h22 or use the 97 ex harness and wire up a resistor box and wire up for a obd1 dizzy. thanks for all the info ahead of time

You can make your own plug and play plug harness to wire in a resistor box without cutting or splicing or cutting into your harness at all. I highly recommend this look here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/complete-diy-plug-play-obd2-civic-resistor-box-write-up-ej6-ej7-ej8-em1-eg1-eg2-eh6-2073540/ . the dizzy im sure u can buy a obd2-obd1 conversion harness to run the dizzy that's on the motor for like 35 bux at rywire.com. USE THE HARNESS THATS IN THE CAR it makes things much simpler and run from there. jumper harness for a chipped p28 to run the h22 and u should be good to go as long as u have bought all the mounts and stuff to do this.

Re: putting a h22 in a 97 honda civic dx
everything is over complicated in this thread,
If you are installing this in a civic, use the civic harness and use the alternator wires form the prelude/accord harness. the civic alternator wires are too short. Depin the wires and match accordingly. do not cut unless you are wiling to solder properly and heatshrink. use your CIVIC injectors and your CIVIC fuel line. you will need to flip the fuel line to work properly (the side that is connected to the filter will need to be on the h22 rail). the civic harness will plug into the injectors and into the shocktower plugs/ecu (depending on ef/eg/ek).

not to thread jack, but stock civic injectors will not supply a bigger motor and a turbo. you will need atleast 440 injectors. civics range from 190 to 220.
i would advise against h22 injectors. they are 240 injectors. Forget resistor boxes on the original motors.
if you are installing these in a civic, order injectors for a civic. the injectors are interchangeable. just be sure to order the proper size for current or future power goals.

Re: Putting H22 in a 97 Civic DX - Resistor box and bracket questions
for 450hp (expected) you would need at least 900s
for 300hp you would need 600s
this is based on your hp numbers along with the duty cycle of the injector. you should never surpass 80% duty cycle on an injector. so if you have 1000s. expect them to run 800cc/min max.
link to the calc.
Engine Horse Power - put your number in
BSFC (.50 for n/a) (.60 for super/turbo)
Number of Injectors (4 for h22)
Max Duty Cycle (always .8)(stops you from overworking your inectors)
Fuel Pressure (43.5 unless you have an aftermarket regulator)
for 300hp you would need 600s
