putting d15z1 into 92 cx using the vx harness
I'm putting a d15z1 complete swap into a 92 cx hatch.
I have the complete vx engine harness and plan to use it. I do not have the o2 sensor for the vx or the misc egr junk. I'm going to be running a chipped p06 ecu.
Wiring wise, when I plug the engine harness into the shock tower harness am I going to need to change anything around?
Any issues using the p06 on the vx motor? I'm going to permanently wire vtec on so it is simply a 16v motor all the time, similar to a d15b7. I plan on running a plain p06 map and disabling open loop.
Anybody done anything like this or have any advice on any problems I might run into?

Re: putting d15z1 into 92 cx using the vx harness (bambbrose)
you have to move a pin off of the fourth conector on the right shock tower. and transfer the pin to the largest conector. check the faq or search its somewhere in here. but if you want my opinion. unless you got it for free its a waste of money. the intake ports are tiny, it revs to 6200 rpm, the tranny is just as bad as a cx.
