You can actually put the stock springs back on with out a spring compressor. You just need two sets of jacks.

You can use the jack to compress the spring while in place on the shocks, then tighten the bolt on top of the shock. Its hard to explain in writing but if you analyze it, you can do it yourself.

Sounds sketch, although I do see what you are thinking. Big Danger of one of the jacks slipping. Spring Compressor. 24 dollars. Autozone. Use it, then get your 24 bucks back, including tax. If you break them, they give you a new one, and you still get your money back.

One of the easiest things you can do yourself. Save yourself 140 bucks.
