put new motor in and problems, help please.
I finally put the d15b into my car. Starts up fine and everything, but it sounds like there is a problem just at idle. I floored my car going down the street and there is hardly any accleration. Then when i take it above 3k it studders and chokes it seems like. any ideas? I know these vacume lines go to differnt places, but i tried to match them up close as possible to the d16y7 i had in my car before.

I didn't replace anything on it. I thought since it had under 30k since its from a importer it should be good. I am gonna miess around with the timing today I guess. If that isnt it im gonna take a look at the distributor.

every single engine that importers sell come with "under 30k miles"
even thoguh you get a wire harness with gauge cluster that says 75k miles its still comign with "less than 30k miles"
the milage is basically unknown. for all you know its a 120k mile engien or 59k mile engine or 17k mile engine. Realistically it doesnt matter if its in good condition.
Did you inspect the timing belt for condition and that it was even in time before installing it?
