Default B20b into a 99 ex

I'm about to do an b20 swap into my civic....is there any problems I'm going to run into with the swap

Heres my part list:
JDM B20B
LS Tranny
99-00 Si motor and tranny mounts
P30 ecu
GSR Axles
GSR Half shaft

Should I have any problems using any of this....If you can help that would be great

Also check your states emmisions. Its a light truck motor...some guys have trouble getting it cleared in a car.

I have a b20 vtec teg. It was an easy swap because I didn't have to change much of anything around. b18 to b20 , its all the same. You will need to add a wiring harness to your list also. keep us posted on the project

Why P30 ECU? Why not run a P75? Also i thought the IM was to tall on B20, do you need an LS intake manifold? Your Harness should be ok, you may need to extend wires.

GSR Axles will be fine I run them on my LS swap GSR trans. I would recomend either doing the 3M window weld trick or gettign the ES/prothane tourqe Mount bushings. I hate breaking that drivers side upper mount. It realyl is an easy swap. I would recomend it over a B16 for sure.

Yes it is covered under search but I thought i would be helpfull as much as i can.

Your using a LS Harness in an EK/EJ chasis? It wont mount to the ECU. The EK/EJ harness goes from the motor to the ECU, the DC Harness goes to Other Harnesses.

Your wiring Harness will work fine you will jsut need to extend some wires and possibley for ease of use switch some plugs.

if your gonna do a CRVtec setup in the future.. might as well get a 99-00 civic si engine harness.. just don't plug the vtec line.. and then get a P75 ecu.. OBD2B to OBD1 ecu harness... LS intake manifold... I would also upgrade your driverside mount... to a PLace racing one if you find one.. or a Hasport...

Would the B20B IM not fit in an 99 Ex ? Do I have to run the 94-01 Ls Intakemanifold ?

If you leave the hood off or cut a huge hole in it... the B20B I/M works. If you want a hood and want to keep rain off the engine... you will need an LS style I/M.

But when I make my own threads , you say negative things ? Or some will say find a thread about it already. Which I did so I wouldn’t make anymore threads and now you’re complaining?

You didn't even specify which b20 you got.
