Default pulling to the left... WTF?

ok, this happened on the weekend... whenever i hit the accelerator, the steering pulls left... like a tugging feeling... or jerking feeling, but it pulls left... only when i am hitting the gas, when i push the clutch in or throw her in neutral it goes dead straight as it should be... i brought it to speedy... after braking my lip trying to put it on the lift... they replaced it though.... (thanks speedy) they said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it...

he said, alignment looks alright, my ball joint on the drivers side he said needs replacing and the tie rod end on the passenger side needs replacing as well... they test drove it and he said it feels like torque steers as it is pulling the wheel...

any ideas? anyone ever have this happen to them?

torque oversteer?? just a theory, i dont' know much about it but i think its when you have a lot of power, the car just tracks to one side under hard acceleration...its very possible i might not know what the heck i'm talking about....

well, its stock gsr shafts that came with the motor... so, there shouldn't be any problem with more power... and its always been fine since i've had the motor in like a month ago... i have had serous tranny problems though... popping out of 4th, but its getting replaced.

the driver's side driveshaft had some leakage, but speedy said the shafts seemed ok. although, they said maybe its a bent shaft. they did say when they did a visual inspection underneath the car, thats the shafts didn't seem to spin perfectly when you turn the wheel on the lift... they can see it spinning, but both of them don't spin perfect... it seems they are off a little... so, maybe its a bent shaft... any way to tell?

popping out of gear, pulling, sounds like a motor or tranny mount to me.

I would get the problem fixed with the tranny before you spend money on stuff you might not need. The 2 problems might be related

ever heard of a tranny causing pulling to one side? is there any way to check the engine mounts to see if they are bent or anything like that?

ok, so now it stopped for a few days and started again... slight clicking in driveshaft... only when turning... the guy at speedy told me that my driveshaft was leaking some grease... would re-greasing it stop the clicking?

It's usually is too late once the CV starts clicking. This would be a good time to replace the shaft(s) and the(ir) CV joint(s).

he is right if its clicking its probably too late but it was probably just your axle seal to start with was it leaking any fluid or flinging grease all over the engine bay?

speedy told me that it was leaking fluid after i brought it in to have them look at it like a day or so after it started happening, but not too much...

its clicked a totoal of 15-20 clicks in the past 3 days or so
think its still too late?
