lol... i dont know why people think sometimes it is difficult to pull a motor... if u know what ur doing and have more than one person... u can have a motor out in less than 30 minutes... iv personally even took apart a whole motor outside a car in about 30 minutes... thats taking the head off and bagging everything... clutch as well... then about 30 minutes the next day to rip the block apart

uhhh NO!

I don't want to do this again anytime soon...

BTW the swap takes alot longer than 30minutes. that was just to yank the old one...AFTER everything was disconnected.

So you've finally started on the swap? Great!! Can't wait to hear how the old turbo will bolt up. Probably quite a while from now, I know.

I put a changeover in a car complete and running in an hour and a half with the help of one other person. This included wiring the vtec as well. This was also in an EJ, and it was just a B series swap. It takes almost as long setting the motor up going into the car as it does to actually put it in.

By yourself expect to multiply the time by 2-2.5 if you know what your doing. The longest part is lining the mounts up. It took me like an hour to put a B series swap into an EF with a mount kit by myself. Stupid bitch wouldnt line up. And with mount kits, you get no play. When i say swap, i mean just getting the motor in the car and mounts tightened down.

You don't need 2 people at all. In fact, imo another person just gets in the way.

If you got the right engine wire harness...it is cake. If not, well, it took me about 2 months to fix my problems.

I agree, it's not hard at all. I even rebuilt my own motor, now only if I could "afford" insurance....

I love pulling motors. Its so much fun when its like 45 degrees out side and the motor isfreezing and you have no gloves and another person is holding 2 maglighst s to see and you have get it out in a hour. Once you do it it makes you feel like you can do anything.

No, im not, it just that my freind dont have garages and places to do things. So we end up doin in parked in the street. And my boy was selling his motor and we kept puttin of about taking it out, theh we realized that the guy wanted the motor within an hour. I dotn steal ****, i hate **** who steal, they wanna have a hooked up ride but dont do it respectably. peace
