It's a bitch to remove unless you have the right tools. ie. Air tools, crank pulley removal tool.

Just curious, why do you have to take off the plastic timing belt cover?

you usually take off the cover to change the belt....at least that is why I do it???

Well, there are 3 ways to accomplish this
1. Air tools, use an impact gun.
2. Use a chain wrench to hold the pulley while you untorque it.
3. Buy the actual honda tool to hold the pulley.

Also, torching the bolt helps out quite a bit. It's usually a bitch. If your handy you can make a tool that fit in there, thats what I did.

I understand that you need to take it off to change the belt, I'm just curious as to why he is taking it off. If he is doing it to clean up the engine bay then I would like to warn him that will only cause much bigger problems. Or if he is changing the belt, wish him good luck.
