Default Psudeo type R 5lug...?

Ok I have looked at about as many Crv's and oddesey's as I can stand. IWell ok aside from the exact measurments( which i intend to get) the crv was based off a Bseries platform for the most part.... .I have admired a CRV when I was working on one for a hour or so (lol). but for instance their is a brace that extenbds from where one tow hook is to another... yep gonna buy one for my civic.... Most of these parts seem or look to be functional if used. (maybe just wishful thinking till i get exact specs!)

-CRV full front steeing knuckle assem.(from the upper ball joint to the lower, with the hub caliper, rotor, pads etc.)
-A bare CIVIC/INTEGRA rear traling arm. with a "CRV/ODDESSEY/ITR" rear spindle (keep in mind this is what the caliper bolts too and it determines caliper placement and size of brakes. and also what the hub/bearing bolt to) bolted to it (4 50pt TORKS bolts.

again not to surwe if this will work but after staring at the CRV froint and rear suspension it really appears to matchup...

most salvage yard with full front spindles $75each/$150 pair
existing rear traling arms and full spindle, hub, rotor, caliper, brakes $150 pair used if your lucky so you 'd have about 300 in it if it worked and the front brakes are huge on the oddesey!

I've wondered about some of that before. It'd be cool if it's possible.

the silver ek's is tom's
and the black one from the hub shot is mine.. althought right after i changed my rear hub, tom took my old one threw it on his knuckle and bolted up 5lug to his car right there in that shot, but i didnt get a pic of it.

what makes up 5lug is really the caliper which is $700 each at the dealer and you cant find them laying around in junkyards. their what space out enuff to clear the bigger rotor so in sence if you have a type r rear caliper u can get the hub ($132) and the rear rotor ($25) and bolt on 5lug.

i would think oddissey 5lug wouldnt work because their caliper is made to go on a different knuckle. that knuckle cant bolt up to our trailing arm and their caliper wont bolt up to us. and no way you can use their trailing arm. the front would be a whole other story..

this is tom's 5lug setup... he can custom fabricate so he knows a lil bit..

well like i said in earlier post I looked at a crv's rear traling arm and it "appears" to be the same pattern as the civic/teg arms and thus unboltable/usable...

the oddesey idea mmust have just come from me hallucinatin when see how big the rotors/calipers are....

Wouldnt the fact that it is RWD, cause the rear trailing arms to be different to allow the axles to connect to the hub?

ahh good point.maybe i was thinking AWD sytem for a civic/teg doooh!!!

well may just grabbing an oddesey rear spindle/rotor,/hub and caliper will work.. if not you may just have to go to the dealership for the rear...

I just bought a set of wheels so I don't have the money to buy the "test subjects"

remember they also make a FWD CRV...

I would like to know about this... find a junked CR-V and I would strip the brakes off of it real quick... and bling on some ITR wheels...

I believe that the type r rear calipers will cross reference with another honda model, like a prelude vtec. You can get re-manufactured prelude vtec or legend front calipers for anywhere from $50-$130 from autozone or pep-boys.
