PS?
Hey i am going turbo on my b16, pullin the motor to build it, but my ? is do i keep power steering or not? I am not looking to get the 2-8 hp out of it, but weight, and better feeling. How difficult is it to turn a coupe with no ps, and i have been told that removing it really does help with the overall cornering/feel of the wheels...true? when i searched i really only found indepth details about the lude

i have a built and turboed b18c1 in my 98 ek. Took out power steering and it's not that bad. It will be kind of hard to turn your steering wheel, if you car is barely moving, but once you get moving, it's not that bad at all.

I actually heard that it was bad for your steering rack if you originally had power steering and you just took the power steering pump off.
I've driven my buddies no power steering having DX coupe and it feels a lot better than my EX with power steering with the belt off of it. The DX is a lot easier to turn when not moving.
If you're going to go with no power steering, I would have to say get a non power steering rack.

Otherwise loop your existing PS lines so you don't have to swap out an entire PS rack. DIY or buy a kit from H-T user Padawan.
