Default Prothane and Energy Suspension

What are the differences in the polyurethane that they make?

Probably not much difference...at least that anyone of us could tell. The chemical composition could vary but the tangable materials are so similar it would be difficult to tell.

I've had experience with both manufactures' products and there is no great difference in hardness, durability, smell , durometer, weight, etc. I generally steer towards Prothane over ES though. Personal preference that is all.

Almost positive that there isn't enough different to matter.

Buy whichever you can get cheaper.

The prothane ones cost more, and I wanted to know why.

compare what comes with the rear trailing arm bushings for example:

The ES are just poly bushings that reuse the oem outer shell and inner pivot. The Prothane unit comes with all new hardware. Just a thought.
