Default which proportioning valve for civic eg?

Which proportioning valve should I use with a civic dx with front and rear gsr brakes, I was thinking oif using a stock civic hatchback si/ex non abs one? is there any others I can get in the $100 range or is this one good enough?

You can use the one from a 92-95 Si hatchback or one from a 92-93 GSR Integra GSR because they both have all wheel disc brakes...and make sure it has the "4040" number stamped on it..

ya I no to make sure it says 40/40 on it, I just want to no which one will work best with out having to make and bend new lines.

you can use 92-95 civic 30/30 or 30/40 prop valve...you can also use 94-01 40/40 prop valve from a nonabs model...the key is in the bleeding...good luck

In an EG, you won't have to bend any lines. The all line up, but one of the bracket holes might not. With six lines and a bolt, it shouldn't go anywhere though. You only have to wory about bending lines if you are looking at changing the MC. And even then you don't always have to bend if you get the right one.

I have a 4040 too, BTW. $40 shipped.
