Icon2 Proper way of using seafoam in my D16Z6

I want to run seafoam through my engine. I was wondering, what is the proper way of running it? I read how to`s and I did use the all powerful google tool. But I wanted to know the proper way of using the stuff on our engines?

i'm in for an answer as well, seeing as the z6s usually have high mileage, should running it in the crankcase be a good idea?

No. Been asked and answered to death. Don't know why you think the procedure is somehow different than the DIYs and guides.

Third the can. Add to crankcase, gas tank and run through the brake booster. Change oil soon after. Leave the oil unchanged and you will destroy your engine. Have any doubts about using it then you should not.

I use the MAP sensor port.

Ideally you want to use a vacuum source closest to the throttle body.

exactly

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+use+Seafoam+Civic

obviously you don't know how to use google its really simple actually

i just used seafoam in my car last night and changed my oil like 40 mins after weird thing is that there wasnt a lot of smoke there was some for like 30 sec but there wasnt anymore

like he said

1/3 Crank Case
1/3 Gas Tank
1/3 into your vacuum line

i would get a coke bottle or something plastic and just pour 1/3s into that so you don't overspill

If you wind up with leaking main engine oil seals down the road you might wish you didn't use any additives, seafoam, rislone etc.

with engine seals it not a matter of if they are going to leak only of when. If they start to leak after seafoam use that is only because the deposits helping to keep the engine from leaking are removed.

^in which case you may be better off leaving the deposits in place.

As far as I know, there isn't a single automobile manufacturer willing to recommend this procedure for their vehicles.
