well if u r looking for about a decent streetable set up. id suggest just rebuilding the bottom end with new seals, gaskets, rings, bearings, washers, pumps etc... id also suggest getting ARP 8mm rod bolts and having those installed along with having the rods alignhoned back to OEM spec (should cost u around $1000). easiest way to really do the conversion IMO is get the Golden Eagle ls/v full conversion kit, its like $350 bucks but it comes with everything (special dowl pins, headgakset, oil filter sandwich plate, feed line, AN fittings, and anything else that is needed). upgrade your oil and water pump to GSR/Type R pumps along with a gsr/type r timing belt.

thats cool man. just make sure u take it to a machine shop to have your piston to wall clearances checked for heat expansion of the pistons. and keep the directions to the rods that u r going to use becuase they will call for a different torque spec than OEM.

also check out the rod numbers that u have (1-4) if u r getting eagle rods, those rods call for a #3 rod bearing. so if u have a 1,2 or 4 rod u need to find out what bearing is for a #3 to us for those rods. but if u r going with the ACL bearings just have a machine shop measure all of the clearances for u.
