proper break in procedure for a freshly built motor?
i just got my car back from the shop. my motor just got fully built for boost (je pistons, eagle rods, bearings, hg, studs, etc.) and i was wonderin if there is a break in period. right now, im basically just doing what common sense tells me to like not venturing into vtec range. what other precautions should i take? thanks.

Do not go over 3500 RPM for 1000 city miles.
I'd say take it to no more than 4500 or so for the first 200-300 miles, then go easy on till 800-1000 miles

everybody has their own opinions. i dont necessarily think there is any 1 procedure that is correct. after i built my engine. i warmed it up, put abouit 20 miles on it and i couldnt resist the temptation and took it to redline. if somethings goin to go wrong, no matter how much u baby it its goin to go wrong whether u slowly break it in or rod the crap outta it.
