Which prop valve and MC for ek rear disc swap?
Doing a rear disc swap on an EX EK... Rear swap is using 99-00 Si parts. Will a 15/16 MC bolt up with no mods? Which prop valve do I need? 4040 99-00 si?
Thanks!
Thanks!

This is the master I used on my EG hatch...didn't have to mod anything, but I'm not sure about the EK.

and I have a 40/40 prop valve...pedal feels awesome...

For prop valve information check out this LINK. Look at post #13, #18 and #20.
I'm going to be swapping rear discs from a Del Sol on my EG which has a 3030 prop valve. The EG Si has a 3040 prop valve and rear discs. For now I'm not going to change it based on those three posts.

Re: Which prop valve and MC for ek rear disc swap?
The prop valve and MC are all the same factory specs and/or numbers. I put disks on my 99 DX as well as EX fronts, they're working fine with the stock PV and MC. From what I understand if you use Integra fronts it helps to use the Integra 1" MC since the piston in those calipers is bigger.
I completely flushed my system with DOT 4 which will probably be more helpful than swapping MC and prop valve.

You need at least a 7/8 MC and a prop valve is NOT needed unless you upgrade to bigger aftermarket calipers.

you CAN run a 13/16 MC, but eventually it MAY give out. Doesn't mean it wont work, it may last forever but I would upgrade the MC

What actually irked the crap out me was finding parking brake cables. Hopefully, I tracked down some that work and I'm putting them on tonight.

I finally go those parking brake cables on. They are DC sedan cables, the hatch probably would have worked but they are approx. 1/2" shorter.
