Projector Headlights
I was thinking of getting a set of these projectors
whether they be Denji,Toucan, APC,
I dont know
anyone out there have them and how do you like them.
Do they have a good beam pattern or should I even bother
what brands are you running and anyone have pics of the beam patterns
let me know

but you can probably look in mags at nopi ads n ****
they probably have them advertised.
the black housing ones are nice but discontinued long ago.
the vision on those are pretty ok. i have to say decent,
BUT if you slapped on a set of HID's on your headlights you'd have a better view.
did the accident damage your headlights as well?

Re: Projector Headlights (MugenEF7)
nope no damage just rocks
Arvin used to have them but I dont remember if they work well enuff
I have HIDs on the OEM lights they are mad bright and I dont even need the hi beams
I just wanna try something different
I wouldnt want the black housings...might look odd next to my Vision amber corners

if anything just get a set of SiR-S headlights. brighter than your stock
the housing allows the bean to fall farther than the stock housings you have.
its plastic also. no worries about rocks

Re: Projector Headlights (555R)
I just got a pair of clear projectors from my buddy who sells bunch of APC crap online. They look good, entirely clear you can see the highbeam bulb and projector. The beam output is excellent, I think the high beams are a bit too bright for road driving, light output is more that of a set of KC hilights. but the projectors work great.
However the fit of the product is not so good. adjusting the friggin things in the housing is a pain in the butt and my high beam and projectors are reversed, the projectors come on when high beam is engaged, high beam bulbs come on when I turn off the highbeam switch, go figure. I think it might be cuz the projector bulbs are higher wattage than my high beam bulbs...

i have shark eyes brand projectors with the clear/chrome housing. i have been very happy with them.
i also have the OEM-style fog lamp kit, but the lenses on mine appear bluish when off, but are solid amber/yellow when on. oh, and the covers are painted (by a shop) to match my body.

Re: Projector Headlights (Special_Ex)
Thanks guys. The corner lights were cheapy clears that I sprayed myself, looks pretty good I think for a total of $15. The headlights I got off Ebay of all places--think I paid around $110 for them brand new. The lights themselves say Denji on them but were packaged in a Jaguar Eyes box. The fitment isnt that great--the outer sides didnt match up so I just left it unbolted, just like someone else said they are a bitch to adjust.
As for the turbo kit. Well, its not on yet. I decided to go with a larger turbo than the small T3 I have here (its for sale). The intercooler is actually a starion unit that I modified myself.
