in the process of h swapping my hatch, need guidance.
well to start off, i bought these hybrid mounts from someone off honda tech, finally got a trans, its a prelude SH transmission, and i tried putting the mount on it, and here are some photos
here is what i found out,
1. one of the studs is about 1/4 inch off.
2. there looks like the mount shouldve came with spacers or something. notice the 1 inch gap between the trans and the mount,
3. one of the ball detent bolts are in the way of the mount.
has anyone every had this problem before?

I had to use metal spacers from homedepot and lowes because of that bolt that sticks out od the trans case. in the last picture you have posted it looks like your mount is bent a lil bit. and if its a SH tranz it will only work with the SH engine because it has ATTS. and Even if you had the Type SH engine It wont fit in the EG chassis because the tranz wont clear the subframe it hits. hope this helps.

What is the tranny code? Because from the pictures you posted it does not look like an ATTS trans to me.The mounts will work on both but You will run into the same problem as I did and have to use spacers. I have advid mounts and had to do the same thing and use spacers to clear that bolt. I have ran into the same prob with h23 f22 and h22 trans you either have to replace that bolt with somthing that sits flush with the trans case or use metal spacers so the mounts sit even above it.

ouch! yeah that is for sure ATTS its for the 97-01 SH yeah bro you need a new tranz I would sell that one and buy a reg H22 or h23 tranz. stay away from F22 tranz super long gears!

h23 I think is the best of both worlds if you can get ton of them you will be good. the gearing is just a little longer than an h22 trans M2S4. good luck man let me know if you need help with your swap.
