probs. wit my 94 cx
what up guys!!! got a bit of a problem.. i just got a 94 civic cx. 5spd. the motor was swapped with a d16z6 and is running on a PR4 ecu.(v-tec was on switch but i removed it)
and it doesnt seem to run right..
at start it high revs @ 2000rpm. and as it warms up it lowers down but not just to 1000 more like 500( or bearly running)
and when i step on the cluch i loose about 500rpms, then regain 500 after i let off the clutch..
also in my brakes, i changed the front pads, rear shoes and rear wheel cylinders, bleed the lines and my pedal still looses pressure and after holding the brake for a sec.. the pedal hits the floor, n the sec. i ease off im rollin back lol..
oh and with all these problems theres still NO check engine light.....
unfortunately i just got this car not too long ago so i really dont know everything about it.. if u need me to ID any part i will/try
all help is appreciated!! thanks!!

Re: probs. wit my 94 cx
I wouldn't expect those to trigger a CEL since the clutch and braking system is purely hydraulic (unless you have ABS). For your brakes, problem may lie with the master cylinder or brake booster. I had a similar problem my car and it turned out to be the master cylinder.

Does the check engine light, light up when you start the car?
You should get the right ECU for your engine, the P28. Do you have a 1-wire O2 sensor, or a 4-wire hooked up? What transmission are you using? Does it have really long gearing?
