problems reving past 7000 sometimes
hey whats up everyone. i have a 00 ek hb with a 95 gsr motor. the problem is when i step the pedal to the floor the car sounds like its bogging, and alot of popping then just like a rev cut it wont allow me past 7grand. sometimes. couple of times it let me hit 8200 no problem but majority it stops at 7. i have a 95 ecu stock. with the jumper harness. i cant figure it out. someone please help me. i dont know what the probelm is. does it matter if the knock sensor is plugged in or out? thanks everyone.

Are you getting a CEL?
With the knock sensor unplugged, it's likely.
Timing could be off. Sounds like you're running in limp mode.
