problems removing em1 coupe door panels HELP PLEASE
please correct me if im wrong, but to replace the plasitc piece that mounts the tweeters i have to remove the door panel correct? that being said im having trouble completly taking it off. i cant get it around the door handle. i got all the screws off. do i just have to finess is around the handle or can i take the handle off? can i just pull up and and the rubber pieces at the top will pop off as well?

Take out screw behind the handle and the 3 around the speaker in door. All so remove screw were your power window controls are. Once all screw's are out pull handle like your opening your door and yes Finess the peice around it will take a few trys.

Yeah, there's a screw in the door handle and then one in the little cup on the door armrest. There's a clip on the front of the piece in the armrest, so watch out when you remove it that you don't snap it. The piece around the handle comes off too, just twist it around the handle. That should all be very easy to remove from the car.
I remove the speaker from the door too, but I can't remember if that needs to happen or not (nice to not have the weight or risk of damage though).
Then there are a lot of clips all around the outside. Pull the door panel back and up and it will come out of the channel on top of the door skin.
I've had issues with the screw in the door handle cross threading when you put it back in. That's happened on more than one car.
