Nocturnal

Last week one of my hoses busted. Got that changed, then my water pump along with timing belt got changed. The day I got it back I drove to work and it overheated. Before going home I was told by my mechanic to put water in there. Reason was the system may not have been bled right and there was still air in system.

Come today I am driving home from work and my car starts stuttering like it wants to die out but doesn't. Then it starts to overheat. I pop the hood and the resavior that connects to the radiator is smoking like hell. I know not to touch it unless I want to be burned, badly.

Can anyone think of any causes why this might be happening?
