Hmm, sounds like something with the distributor. Check the internals of the distributor by removing the cap..

it could also be your alternator. I had to bang mines with a hammer a couple of times.

Check the internals of the distributor for carbon build up.
Could be a problem with the ignitor, or cap/rotor...
could also be a problem with the alternator charging the battery -- or the battery itself.

Pull your plug wire to check for spark (screwdriver in the wire)...ask for more info if you don't know how to do this...
Also consider a faulty fuel pump or clogged filter... how old is the car ?

only one time did it not run strong, and that was last weekend
it shook when i drove it, and bogged out
