Problems on '92 CX after b18b1 swap.
Swap details; 1992 CX hatch with b18b1 motor/harness/ecu/5spd trans/axles/throttle cable/engine mounts out of '94 Integra LS. Motor ran fine before yanked from the donor car.
Swap is done, but car runs a bit rough and has a hard roaming idle once the motor reaches normal operating temperature. I installed a new throttle body gasket, tightened down the FITV using the boiling-water method, checked all vacuum connections...can't seem to find any problems. Also having a possible coolant system problem...all coolant hoses except lower hose(from thermo housing to lower rad) get super hot. That lower hose stays cold.
Tomorrow I am going to clean out the IACV, replace PCV valve, clean out intake manifold, replace breather hose with mini filter, spray carb cleaner around the IM to find any vacuum leaks, replace thermostat, replace plugs, oil change and trans fluid fill.
Until then...is there anything I might be missing? Do these 2 problems point to anything in particular that I should check?

It sounds like you are going in the right direction. The coolant problem is the thermostat not opening. The idle problemm sounds like the FITV or IACV. Do the things you listed and post up what it does after that.

Today I was able to get some more work done. I cleaned out most of the intake plenum, cleaned iacv, replaced pcv, replaced v-cover breather hose with breather filter, ran a compression test(160/155/155/155), installed new plugs(ngk oem replacement), removed/cleaned/reinstalled throttle body. Still need to change oil, fill trans fluid, replace thermostat. Will do these last few things tonight.
Car runs a lot smoother, starts up faster, throttle response is a bit better...but starts roaming when warmed up to operating temperatures. It isn't a hard roam anymore...and goes from about 750rpm to 1100ish. I sprayed carb/choke cleaner around all the areas where there could be a vacuum leak and got no change in idle or sound. Sometimes it will stop and idle around 1000rpm...but if I touch the throttle at all, or let it sit long enough...it will start roaming again.
Any ideas? This is a customer/friend's car, so I'm hoping to have it ready for him in the next 48 hours. I've never had any other honda continue roaming after cleaning iacv/fitv...apart from a few that had a bad vacuum hose needing replaced. I'm stumped.

fast idle temp valve...or is it thermo... either way, it's on the tb they are notorious for causing a roaming idle like that.

The FITV was the first part I checked/adjusted, mentioned that in the first post.
Anyways...I pulled the FITV and throttle body back off, tore the FITV completely apart and cleaned it...lost the fkn pin. Found a spare FITV, tore it apart and cleaned it, threw it on the TB, bought a throttle body gasket...no more roaming idle/high idle at start up. Sweet!
As of right now the only issues are;
-the coolant problem...all hoses + radiator get super hot EXCEPT lower radiator hose, even after thermostat was replaced earlier today. Coolant system was bled and topped off several times. Temp gauge reads normal, fan never comes on. The old thermostat actually looked as if it was replaced not long ago...so what could the problem be?
-car runs a tad bit rough at idle. Timing is dead on, brand new spark plugs, new 8mm plug wires.
