Problem starting..
I have been using a switch to turn my car on for a while now and i'm getting tired of it.
A while back, the car wouldnt start.. no clicks, no noises, nothing. So I assumed the starter had died. Took it off and connected it to a power source and it worked. I then put it back in an ran a hard wire to the battery and the car starts right up. It has been that way ever since. I was assuming that there is some kind of ignition or starter solenoid that could be replaced in the steering column or something but i'm not completely sure. I know it isn't the main relay because I have no other problems, the car has run fine for the past three months. When I used the meter to test the power wire going to the starter it was not getting any so it has to be a power problem somewhere... I just don't know where. Experts, Any Ideas? |
