Problem removing rear upper link bar on an EG
I'm trying to install the skunk2 rear link bar for adjusting camber, and upon taking out the two bolts that connect to chassis, the stock bar snapped inwards and will not budge. It's like the bushing seized up on the bolt that holds the outer part in. I've tried removing the bolt, but of course the damn thing wont budge (ah the joys of honda susension).
The bolt is now stripped, and I can't budge the bar back into place to get it to a shop to get it cut out. I've tried PB blasting it hundreds of times, WD40, you name it.
Now I can't even get a grip on the bolt with vice-grips cause it's so stripped, and the link still doesn't budge, it's already scratched up my brand new AGX's :-\
Any suggestions oh Honda gods?

Re: Problem removing rear upper link bar on an EG (BlueIntegraBoy)
It's seized to the trailing arm, which is &*%##$@ ripping up my brand new AGX's (cry). The bolt is stripped, I can't even get a pair of vise grips to hold onto it....
Of course I cant drive it to get it cut out

Re: Problem removing rear upper link bar on an EG (gdrum)
i had the same exact problem with installing a pair of skunk 2 on ek.
here's what i did....
remove your AGX's and get a blow torch.
his the bushing with a blow torch until the bolt is free.
you basically want to burn off the bushing -- there's no other way. i tried every degreaser on the planet.
i blew one of my air-guns trying to remove that same exact bolt.
i bought a new more powerfull gun that still couldn't get it out.
best thing is go to home depot pick up a bottle of propane and burn it off.
hope it help and becareful with the gas tank.

Re: Problem removing rear upper link bar on an EG (EK9Rider)
I took it up to the welder down the street and he cut it out for me. Thanks for all your input guys!
Word of the wise. Do not attempt to take this bolt out without some sort of cutting device handy!
Honda rear suspension SUCKS!
