problem with my vtec-e solenoid

hi, i own a civic 2000 hx, and my question is if i could get any vtec solenoid to replace mine because i have the check engine light on thanks

We don't just throw money into parts around here. Tell us what code you're throwing, and we might actually be able to help you fix it without wasting money on parts you might not need.

Go through the troubleshooting flowchart that HPH just posted. Take your time, do it right the first time, and you should have it fixed in a few hours tops.
