Problem with my 99 CX..
So I haven't touched my car in almost a week, because I was out of town and have been driving my truck.. Well, I go to start the Civic tonight and it turns over, but won't start.. Battery is definitely fine, because it seems to be cranking fine, but just not "catching" and starting.. Any ideas what it could be?
I'm leaning towards replacing the cap and rotor, thinking that it's just not firing, but wanted to see what you all thought..
Thanks!

u try giving it some gas while turning the ignition? i remember my car was at the shop for about a week and the same thing happened to me. after a couple of tries with pressing down the gas pedal like half way it started.

pump the gas pedal for about 15 seconds before you turn the key
remember don't crank it for more than 5-8 seconds, don't fugg up anything that isn't broken

this worked.. which really surprised me..
why is this? does the system lose fuel pressure as it sits and the gas runs out of the injectors or something? I'd think with fuel injection the pressure would remain and this would happen.. Am I wrong?
