Default Problem with coolent

I have a 95 civic ex and yesterday i went to a car meet with some of my friends and we were racing all the way there and when i got home i let my car idle for like 5 minutes to cool it down and my car started to get hot. the temperature gauge read at more than half. I checked my coolent and it was empty. This has happened twice already. If anyone knows why im losing coolent please let me know.thanks

P.S. Sorry for the long explanation.

Any leaks?

Check hoses, coolent container/canister, and radiater for cracks.

Goodluck.

naw, i checked no leaks. when i popped my hood i saw coolent all over the intake arm though. I think its coming out of the coolent tank.

If it's the Coolent tank itself you should replace it for cheap with one from a junk yard. It should be cheap and easily replaceable. Do it quick so you can prevent the wrath that overheating can unleash on your engine.

You're in SoCal like me so I know this piece is easily obtainable for you.

maybe you have a leak in your radiator....

maybe your headgasket is blown???

how many miles on your engine?????

flushed your coolant??

I had the same problem...with my old D16...

My remedy....

B16.......

also, when i first swapped, my engine still overheated a little....

so i put a dual core del sol radiator and It solved all my problems......

also, is your resevoir tank full or is it empty also???
