problem bad mounts
Ok I just got my tranmission changed(used transmission is now installed) so once I start driving around I noticed when I accelerate my shifter would pull all the way to the front, I ended up parking my car at my friends house, I went to look under the hood wear the trans mounts is only one bolt was going through the hole. I go and try to fix this thingbut the mounts dont match up with the bolts only ones goes through. I look up the year of the transmission its from 92-95 and my car is a 99 civic. So my question is shouldn't the tranmission bolt right in or do I have to get a different mount for the year of the transmission?its a d series tranny

Re: problem bad mounts (stuff215)
if yo have a b16 or b18 you have to use the rear tranny mount off a 92-95 civic if the shifter pulls all the way to the front the rear tranny mount bolt may have fallen out or come loose dont drive it you will do more damage than good try to find that rear mount if you have a swap.......most junkyards will have them for like 25-40 dollars good luck
