Problem adding freon to 95 civic
I just bought that freon kit for my 95 civic r134a with the gauge attached to it...I made sure my car was running and A/C was on full blast while adding. I added the can until the gauge got to full. But now when i drive with the A/C on my rpm tac jumps alot, and when driving it feels like someone is lightly tapping the brakes every 5 seconds or so, and it makes this clicking sound in the engine, any help?

Re: Problem adding freon to 95 civic (95sivee)
Hmm..Did the kit u bought include compressor or PAG oil in the can of 134? U might need to put an oil charge in the system to lubricate the compressor. Watch ur compressor clutch at idle and see if it cuts on and off pretty quick. That might be what ur feeling. Usually if thats the case, ur ac system is low and needs recharging, but u just added to the system so i dunno...

that is what i used
it says on the bottle:
-reduces engine drag for improved gas mileage
-extends compressor life
-prevents oxidation and sludge formation
-compatible with pag & ester oils
but yeah what you are talking about is what it is doing, when idling the tac will lower when the a/c is running, it gets so low sometimes it sound like its gonna shut the car off (kill it)
