Icon2 pro series intake or stock???

well i just whanted to know, i have a b16a on my EG and recintly bought a SKUNK2 intake manifold for it... but i heard from people that the stock B16 will be better in low rpms. i also heard that the skunk2 one make better power over like 8500rpm.... is any of this true??? thanks...

you will lose low rpm power with the skunk2, but will gain higher rpm power.

but it is no where near like putting a vic x on it. if you have the valvetrain, spin the engine up higher.

You may notice a loss in lower rpm power due to the larger plenum design and therefore less air velocity; however, the larger plenum allows for increased flow at higher rpm. Having said that, you wont notice as large of a gain if you dont tune for the added parts. It's not required by any means, but you wont see as much of a gain without a tune.
