The engine check light came on in my 98 civic 2dr DX today, so i brought it into my garage and ran the ecu code check for it. the coad flashed 4 long, 1 short (code 41) so i looked it up and its "Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater Circuit Malfunction" I dont really know if thats serious, it doesnt realy sound like it but if any body knows how to fix it, or at least give me some advice on it, before i take it to a garage and get charged a arm and a leg to get it fixed i would be happy. Thanks!

replace the primary O2.
check all the wiring as well.

ok sounds good, where is the o2 sensor to? on the manifold or down under on the exhaust system?

The primary sensor is on top of the exhaust manifold straight in front of the engine.
Remove 2 bolts to take off shield for better access.
Make sur your exhaust manifold's not cracked.
