Re: priceless (Gcar)
good stuff, is this your first rebuild? i've never done one before and wondering how hard is it? i have to do a rebuild on my crx pretty soon, or maybe a swap( but carbureted doesn't make it easy), so how long did it take you?

Re: priceless (tominos)
ha ha. that sucks and i know it from personal experience. i had my freshly bored B18C1, new eagle rods, blingin JE Pistons and rings, and my friend came into town to help me finish putting it back together. so there i am, got my pistons and rods together, block on engine stand, putting on the rings, and SNAP!!!! damn #2 rings. 3 days later, my new JE rings came in, and i was EXTREMELY careful. but it gave me another chance to gap them perfectly, so it was OK i guess. but i got to do it alone. oh well, put it together and bolted up the turbo kit. she ran like a scalded dog for a couple months until i slammed her into a concrete wall. life can suck a fattie. 6 grand that insurance wouldn't pay for down the drain
