Re: Price Turbo (TrunkRattlin)
depends wether you buy a complete turbo kit like a drag/greddy/edelbrock etc, or you piece it together, ive almost completed my kit and im under 1100 bucks without hondata and tuning

so piecing it together yourself is cheaper, how so? I kno sc are pretty expensive, even more expenisve than the turbo kits ive seen. If you wanna be different, go sc though because not alot of poeple have them. The best one ive seen is the vortech v5 i think it is. but its like 4.5 g's i think. Just remeber honda's have high revving motors which is muy bueno for turbos

Re: (97spooncivic)
to piece together a kit is easy, first you need to kno whats involved and what youll be needed. I searched around on the fs threads here and ebay and got everything. t3/t4 turbo log mani w/ external wasgate all the piping, bov, fmi, missing link, injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump and bought new oil feed and return lines and im just under 1100 bucks, could have even been cheaper if i wouldnt have bought some new stuff. I still need hondata and to get it tuned, but kingmotorsports is near by and he gives us local honda member a decent price, and i might go crome which will be about 200 cheaper than hondata

They can cost around the same if you know where to look. You can pick a turbo up from Greddy or go to http://www.cheapturbos.com and piece one together, like I said, know where to look.
