The price is right! Guess how much this b20 complete is going to cost me!
I plan on getting a b20 complete (turned into odb1) w/ 99-00 si tranny into my 92 civic cx hatch....please tell me how much do you think all of my items are going to cost me and total it out...because i dont know the average of what everything goes for...
b20 longblock
99-00 si b16 tranny
motor mounts
gsr shiftlinkage (cus i like the bend )
harness (cus my **** is already fucked up)
ls ecu
ls intake manifold
....anything else i forgot? Please include with price and total it up please. Thank you...this will help me make a decision whether i want to get a b20 then go turbo or just a b16 or so...
Note : 99-00 si tranny for now...while im n/a then when turbo gets on...i go with the ls tranny.

1. $750 from Hmotorsonline.com
2. $300 or less from the classifieds
3. don't need motor mounts for a B20...the engine comes with all you'll need
4. less than $150 from the classifieds or ebay
5. $200 new
6. $no idea how much non-VTEC ECU's go for
7. $100 MAX because everyone gets rid of them for Edelbrock or Skunk2 manis.
So probably in the neighborhood of $2000 and a case of corona. Not bad.

1. about $700-800. dont forget to add shipping if you cant find it local
2. why not got LS trans now? save you some money but SI trans $600-$700
3. motor mounts should come with motor
4. $150ish
5. which harness? engine? if so about $200
6. no more than $100, not too popular
7. $50 or so, alot of people get rid of them
your looking at $2000 ballpark figure.
good luck on the swap

I opened up this thread and was expecting an already estimated price of a B20. I thought you were excited about getting a B20 for cheap and that's why you started this thread.
I say $2000 like everyone else.

Re: The price is right! Guess how much this b20 complete is going to cost me! (EJ1Z6)
I got a quote from a junkyard for $2500 for a B20Z (30k miles) longblock with a LS dropout minus the long block. I was wondering if that is a good price? That is shipped to me and everything.
