I am looking at converting my 00 Ex coupe over to a manual in about 9 months or so . Well since I was gonna be in there changing things over and stuff I figured I would do the same with the engine (why not the **** is apart ) LMAO . I know there are different series motors and so on . What would the running prices be on some swaps (((full swaps , motor , ecu , axles , transmission , clutch pedal assembly etc etc etc))) . Like on average what are the prices on these swaps . B16 B16a , B16b etc etc etc thanks . Also be interested in Tegs motors , like GSR and Type R prices you have all come across .

one of my good friends converted his 2000ex civic to standard about a year ago and he is almost done. There are a lot of things to change. And it is more money than just the pedals gauge cluster and tranny. He bought the underdash harnesses and an engine harness from honda for over $1000 to make it run right with no engine codes and he still has engine codes. The code is because his automatic intake manifold is different than the standard and he converted to obd1. i don't know how much you've researched it or how hard you realize it is but my friend and everyone that knows him is going to buy a standard if they ever want one. Maybe you should work out a deal with someone and trade yours out for a standard instead. Just my 2cents.

One of my friends got this done on a 1998 EX and he paid 500 for labor.... It ran perfect but the motor blew due to some unknown reason.... It blew the same night it came out of the shop, Rod through the block (OUCH).
