The prelude has a ****-ton more power - but it also has a ****-ton more weight.
I'd have to say the civic would probably take it - I don't know much about earlier preludes, though .
PS: Bench racing as I would say this is is against forum rules. Try general discussion debate. Obviously driver skill is a big variable, too, you're not going to know for sure until you race.
Not to mention engine wear, etc. A lot of people on H-T when bench racing tend to put the OEM bhp numbers like that actually means something - but once you take into account engine deterioration (how much the hp lowered since new), and drivetrain loss, and where it makes its power opposed to torque - it's a totally different ball game.
You're not going to really know for sure until you race, but I don't know much bout the earlier preludes to say for sure, but if I had to base just on what ur saying, I'd have to say the civic.

lol i find this really funny. Preludes are nice and all but to me they just seem more luxourious then civic's and integra's. idk i bet the civic would take it. its all about the power and weight ratio: and driver skill.
Keep in mind that these are older cars... you have to factor in that you both have probally lost some horse power and torque over the years.
so that prelude could of came stock with 104 to 150 hp depending on trim. weighing in at 2337 to 2954 lbs
im going to guess and say your talking about a 5th gen civic so you figure about 130 horses weighing in any where from 2094 - 2326 lbs
i'd say if the driver of the civic didnt suck they would win.
