Pre Wired for VTEC?

Pre Wired for VTEC?
I'm planning to do a B16A Swap in my 93 hatch, in the engine bay there's a plate that says my car was manufactured in Canada. I have heard that the cars manufactured there were pre wired for VTEC. Is this true? if so How do I trace the wire(s) down to hook this up?

umm are you sure because my friend has an EG Hatch and his plate says manufactured in Japan. It's all stock too so I know he didn't put that stuff on there.

Some EFs were made in Japan. All North America EG/EK hatches start with 2HGE... The "2" denoting Canada.

All 92 civic's were pre-wired.
if you have a DX you will have to add the following,
1. VTEC Pressure to
2. VTEC Soleniod
3. Knock sensor
If you have CX you will have to add three wires to convert from a 1 to 4 wire O2 sensor.
heres a few things that should help.

no he's not, tardo, only 92 hatches were prewired.

wow... here i am thinkin all 92-95 civics/del-sols/etc... were ALL pre-wired for vtec. i really don't know now.
