powerlocks: driver door wont luck if door is open and wont unlock with key
i just got a 94 honda civic and whenever i go to lock the car i have to climb in the passenger side to lock the driver door...it will not lock unless the driver door is closed or i hold the handle (mean i "open" the handle or wahtever u call it, like u do when ur gettin in or out of the car, u lift tha handle)...i also cannot unlock the driver side with my key..i have to unlock passenger side n climb accross..but if im ridin in the car i can lock both doors with lock button on driver side (since the driver door is closed)..btw they are power locks....if this is too confusin plz ask questions..thanks

open up ur door and check those rods... I bet you the one your driver side is bent or ur locking mechanism is f'ed up... Open it up and play with it.
