Seems a bit too blingly for me. I would stick with an EBay intake and get a K&N filter. That would be the cheapest and most effective, in my opinion.

Me and this guy usually don't agree on much of anything.
Though I agree with him 100% on this.

I have one on my b20 its cool. Made some good power with it. It does sound ok for an intake I guess. I have looked at dyno sheets for this intake. It was on an RSX-S it made a little more power over the AEM cold air.

I have one and I like the look of it, but when I smash the throttle it sounds like a elephant making a death charge towards you. I personally like the sound of the AEM sr better then my password especially when vtec engages.

x2 Yup when it comes to N/A it does kinda matter. You don't need to get the $400 Mugen intake but a 3" CAI piping compared to the Power Chamber garbage theres a good difference.

An intake is an intake in terms of those kinds of intakes.
You can't compare an AEM V2 CAI to a whale ***** b/c they just AREN'T the same.
I always like to go with CAI's (in the fender) on the larger engines b/c they can actually gain power from it. On D-series motors they don't really tend to get a lot of pick up from an intake so I usually recommend (and for my car) get a short air intake (like the whale *****), something that's still next to the engine, short one. Why? Better throttle response, and the sound rocks.
EDIT:
And SkoundrelUSA just backed up my post 100% - the 12hp power gain in the dyno pull he posted was on a '00 JDM ITR. That won't happen on a D-series, so stay with a short one on a D-series, it'll improve your throttle response a **** hair and do the same an AEM V2 would do...barely anything.

I guarantee my 3" ebay SHORT RAM with a BPi stack will annihilate a Password piece of ****. Only reason I used the AEM ITR (which isn't a V2 FYI) because Guilotine did an actual dyno test on it. And noone specified only D-series. If you're spending $250 on a intake on a D-series thats just as good as a drop in filter, I feel bad for you

Back when I had the B16 stock the Password made 4 more HP then my AEM short ram intake. Also in that Guilotine guys post other people said that his results were diffrent then the other dynos, and I have to agree. Ive seen many dyno, including my own were it out performed AEM intakes. Ether way, the Password intake made more power for me, so it gets my vote

the power gains on intakes and advertising is complete BS. One intake gained 5.7hp another one gained 9.5hp only for 300rpm then fell off, or 12hp gain at 2,000rpm and losing hp after that. Just get a 3" intake and call it a day. Yeah intakes are not all the same theres alot of science that goes into designing them every motor has different needs theres to many variables. The best intake would be ones thats specifically designed for your motor in terms on diameter, bends, chambers, ect.
