Default power windows 92-95 civics

my windows seem to be getting slower and slower, ive researched that you can make it smoother by adding some silicone lubricant to the tracks...it helped alot but its still not fast enough. will any newer civic window motors swap in? or could i slap on a mini turbo? any thoughts are appreciated.

Ive got a 94 EX and the windows were terribly slow. I used some spray sillicone (yellow can from Walmart) and it made a HUGE difference.
I did NOT remove toe door panels to do it, just shot it down the tracks on the side.

yeah, thats what i did too, it made it a whole lot quieter and smoother, but i want it to roll up faster. my friends have newer cars and their windows roll up reallly fast.. I guess i want it to roll up so fast i can slice fingers off... heheh...

just get the can w/straw.... then roll down the window. and spray where the windows make contact with the sides. ill try to find the write up i found.

ok after 3 mins of searching i cant find it. but i found this:

To help keep your car?s power windows operating smoothly, lightly spray the window tracks with aerosol silicone lubricant (available at many auto parts stores) a couple of times per year. Lubricating the window tracks reduces the friction on the window, which lightens the load on the window?s drive motor and mechanism
