Default power windows "drop"

hey guys

recently, ive noticed that my passenger side power window drops when it reaches a certain point.

it doesnt drop all the way down, but instead of going down at a constant rate, it "hops" about an inch, then goes back to normal.

whats wrong? is the window coming off of the rail?

thanks

It's either not aligned on the tracks properly, or the tracks are dirty and the window is skipping. Pop open the door panel, inspect the movement of the window in the tracks, and spray some silicone spray in there. Should fix the problem.

i had the same problem once. the main joint on the window support arm was bent. I ended up having to replace the whole arm.

the drop on mine was kinda bad. you'd probably want to inspect yours first. just dont get it done by the dealership, they'll charge you out the *** for it.

id try the thing sohc'd upEJ8 said
